I had a blast welcoming in the new year at The Funny Bone in Dayton Ohio!  I did a show at the Dayton Children’s Hospital, and had so much fun performing for patients, their families and staff. I debuted a new song that used the lyrics to Goodnight Moon! I also dropped by Living Dayton to promote the shows at the club, and I also got a chance to plug my new app, The Female Navigation Device.

The Female Navigation Device, an important life-changing app, has launched! We’ve created a few series of hilarious promo spots.  Check out the website and videos!

Check out my parenting blog, Motherf@ther, which is a hit with my daughters’ grandparents and their friends.

My first live standup album, “A Really Intimate Experience” is gaining heat. On July 20th, Ed Placencia of comedy-reviews.com wrote, “Walker is down-to-earth and engaging and I enjoyed every track on the CD. In a world of comedians whose acts are rooted in pompous, I’m-better-than-you arrogance, Walker’s offering of a really intimate experience is a welcome alternative.”  I guess that makes me “a welcome alternative comic”.

Dr Demento played two songs from it on his July 29th show!  Check it out here. Thanks Doc! It’s a true comedy nerd honor to hear my music on the show right after Weird Al. And, it’s been put into the rotation on XM Sirius, so listen up for me there. Thanks to Go Bananas Comedy Club in Cincinatti for the audio footage from my weekend and all the people who turned out. Watch The First Two Minutes of A Really Intimate Experience on YouTube.

Thanks to Rooftop Comedy for giving me the honor of being “Comic of the Day” and for featuring my jokes in their “Daily 8″.  Visit rooftopcomedy.com to check out a few of my videos and also to see other great established and up-and-coming comedians.

Also, check out my musical political album from 2008, “American Standard” . If Tom Lehrer and Pete Seeger had a baby raised by Steven Colbert, that child would have created a better album. Lucky for me, that child was never born. And, watch a live performance of the track, “President Who Looks Like Me” from this year during the Presidential Election. Unfortunately, racism still hasn’t gone out of style.

Thanks for visiting!
