Abu Ghraib Prison Blues

ABU GHRAIB PRISON BLUES
(Parody of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues”)
Hi, I’m Johnny Walker. It’s great to be here at Abu Ghraib!
Well, I hear the cameras rollin’, the photos goin’ snap.
I got a black hood on my head. A naked dude is on my back.
I came to Abu Ghraib prison. I didn’t know I should.
They said, “Son, you’ll be in pictures”. And I thought Hollywood.
Well, I used to be a Baathist. I think that’s why I’m in.
Now I’m takin’ lots of baths… in my own urine.
Hey! I’m in Abu Ghraib prison learnin’ democracy.
Oh, everybody here is treated equally.
Hey you and hey you! Let’s go!
This is the true story of seven thousand men
Picked to live in a prison and have their lives filmed.
I’m stuck in The Real World: Abu Ghraib.
Now, there’s MTV from New York to Baghdad.
Yeehaw! Iraq is free!
