Denny’s, oh boy, I hear you a callin’.
It’s 3 AM, and I am really fried.
The bars have closed, and right before I slumber,
I must eat. And, someone else must drive.

Shall I get “Moons Over My Hammy”
Or scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese on toast?
I shall point to a picture on the menu.
Denny’s, oh boy. Denny’s, tonight, I love you so.

And, when I come, your doors are always open.
I stumble through to the booth that well I know.
When morning comes, my mind may not remember
Our rendezvous, but ooo, my body tells me so.
